How do I determine the correct handing for my new door?
To determine the handing, stand on the outside of the door. If the hinges are on the left, it is a left-hand door; if the hinges are on the right, it is a right-hand door.
What is the standard shipping timeframe for custom orders?
Custom Therma-Tru door systems typically ship within 4 to 6 weeks. Standard components and hardware usually ship within 5 to 7 business days.
Can I paint or stain my fiberglass door?
Yes, our Classic Craft and Fiber-Classic series are designed to be finished. We recommend using high-quality acrylic latex house paint or our official lumber-based staining kits for the best results.
What is your return policy for damaged items?
Please inspect your delivery immediately. If there is transit damage, notify us within 48 hours. We will arrange for a replacement or repair at no additional cost to you.
Are Therma-Tru doors Energy Star certified?
Most of our door systems are Energy Star qualified when configured with the appropriate glass packages, helping you reduce energy costs and improve home insulation.
Do you offer professional installation services?
While we provide the premium products, we recommend hiring a certified contractor for installation. We can provide digital installation guides to assist your professional installer.
